AIR

No mass, no waste. AIR is a chair that minimizes material use in mass. When materials are recycled, it often requires energy, for example to melt something into a raw material again. The less materials we use, the smaller its footprint on energy. Besides, an inflatable is easier to flat-pack, reducing volume of transport. This AIR chair is a neurodesign exploration to use air as a mobile joint for facilitating free body movement with sitting

The FLINT in studio

Studio FLINT - previously known as Enrichers - is a dutch design studio based in Rotterdam, is led by Govert Flint. Hence the name. Ever since he graduated from the TU Delft (Architecture) and the Design Academy in Eindhoven he has been designing spaces and furniture inspired by neuroscience. Always with a focus on body movement in combination with its environment. Next to being a designer, he is a lecturer at the TU Delft and public speaker at conferences.
