BIONIC CHAIR

The Bionic Chair is an exo skeleton chair designed to stimulate body movement while working with the computer. It contains sensors to control the computer mouse.

Although our bodies are evolved to move, we tend to design our objects based on monofunctional use and posture. Technology is taking over more functions our bodies were used to execute, developing a useless body for tomorrow. Instead of using our body for productive life, we compensate the lack thereof with leisure activities. Moving our body becomes a choice, a lifestyle and therewith segregated.

Developing a free movement is an endless act. There are several versions of the Bionic Chair made as research objects to understand how to create the mechanism. Contact us in case you are interested to collect a Bionic Chair.
